Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. Delivery is strongly encouraged for all tiered cakes, as driving with them can be difficult. Delivery/cake set-up fees will be based on location and set-up detail.
You may pick up your order at no charge, but keep in mind that once it has been picked up, the safety and responsibility of your order is yours and Sweet Serenade is no longer liable for any damages.
This depends on the complexity and quantity of the order.
Please send an email with the request (include 'last-minute' or 'urgent' in the subject line) and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
I do not provide same day custom orders at this time. There will be a rush fee for last minute orders.
For all custom orders, a 50% non-refundable* deposit is required at the time of booking. The final payment is due 2 weeks before your event.
For orders with 2 weeks notice or less (i.e. rush orders), full payment is required upon booking.
Payments can be made by card and e-Transfer (preferred).

10+ days in advance:
Option 1: Full refund less $15 admin/processing;
Option 2: Full credit towards future order.
4-9 days in advance:
Advance work and preparation has likely started;
ingredients and supplies have been purchased.
Option 1: 50% refund of all monies received;
Option 2: Full credit towards future order.
1-3 days in advance:
Ingredients and supplies have been purchased.
Work has started on your order or may have already been completed.
No refund. No credit.
